The back view. It has 8 ports, all of these ports has Auto Uplink. It makes the right connection for each cable. It also came with Auto-detection of speed and duplex. So basicially, it's like having a Plug & Play network - plug the cable in and it will know what to do with it.

The old 10Mbps switch. Very large and old. It's an 16 port Netgear EN116 hub. So old, it has the AUI and BNC at the back!

I upgraded the other room with a new switch - Netgear FS605 (5 port). The photo above is an old 10Mbps Netgear EN2005 Hub (5 ports) and it served well. But off it go!
